Bottle green, 330 ml
Appearance: Very nice, long lasting head as for lager beer, milky. Nice, clear, gold colour of the body.
Aroma: Oats, cereales, a little bit milk, a little bit hops. Nice, very mild malts.
Flavour: Well balanced, nice, mild, malty base, milky, blend with nice hops and well build alcohol but a little bit strong, a trace of good quality water, nice carbonation. Flavuor of potato and a very good rice.
Palate: Sparkling, medium lasting, very unique beer as for a plain pale lager. glennmastrange (857), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 13, 2009 Bottle. Light smells of grain for the malt, faint notes of dried grass and flower for the hops and a vegetable/corn smell in the background. Head is fizzy, white with a little lacing and the end of the glass and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear pale yellow. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic to start and then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery and has a fizzy carbonation with a dry finish. Your average Pale Lager. Easy drinking and no bad attributes. mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia

mais oui, eet eez zho elee--ghant, zees biere. polished gold-leaf yellow with an alabaster froth of foam. some mild sweet grass aroma with a note of elmer's glue, with wisps of citrus and saaz. even very freshly opened it has a smooth carbonation-- no soda-poppy bristles here. a grainy lightly hopped pils, mildly sweetened lemon, mint and bagette. hiking the streets of strasbourg's vieille ville in the summer, one might enjoy the light, unchallenging refreshment of this brew at a sidewalk cafe´. unless they had a REAL beer available, of course, a belgian or a biere de garde-- but then you'd probably just sit around and get a major buzz on and end up blowing off the rest of the afternoon's sight-seeing. and zhat vood be zhoooo stoo-peed, you ameri-kane embayceel! Pale golden bodied with medium head. Very cheap aroma of some minor hops, typical for a pale lager. Flavor was even less impressive, slightly bitterish, watery, almost tasteless, with lot of carbonation. Almost no finish and what left is not pleasant but so short it doesn’t matter. Can’t believe the main French export beer is so dull. unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Pours a light golden color with a white head. Aroma is light of wheat, grassiness, and some slight floral hops. Flavor is a little stronger then I expected with wheat, grass, and floral hops. Better then the typical pale lager but still nothing special.

"This’ll be another crappy canned lager" I thought as I opened it...looks ok, good gold colour, and a white head that lasts, and leaves a fine lacework. Aroma?..well...slightly hoppy, and slightly malty..hmm,not that great. Palate is smooth and slightly malty sweet, cant find any hops there tho’..not the "crappy" I expected, not a classic either..ok,I suppose for a S&N "produced under licence" lager.
