Feb 9, 2006 Not a bad beer, really. There’s just not that much to it. Both aroma and flavor are faint, a sweet bready malt with some grassy hops - - but both are barely there. Watery finish. Nov 19, 2002 Dark straw color with a white unimpessive head. Seems gassy with slight cardboard and grass aromas. Fairly thin and odd malt flavors. Acidic after taste.

Jul 8, 2005 Oh boy, an international lager. Tasted this in some internet cafe on Rue Ste-Catherine for a rediculous price, but hey, it’s 7:30 in the morning, I’ve been up for about 22 hours and I’ve walked all over Montreal, it’s time for a beer and a sit down damnit! Very light straw color, light white head, some lacing. Nose of light stale fruit, some husky notes along with a weird burnt note. The flavor is thin with more alcohol bite than it should. Finishes watery, medium bodied, not completely revolting, but to think, I bought this instead of a Blance de Chambly. Ouch.

Jan 5, 2004 The bottled version on the shelves in France has more alcohol - 5.9% (the same as the 1664 Fleur de Houblon q.v.). However, it is still quite malty and rather bland. Under-hopped in my view. Bottled, France, December 2003

Apr 12, 2005 Draft. Clear amber color with small white head that was gone in a moment. Little of no aroma with same small flavor. Finish was small and short.

Feb 13, 2005 Draught. A yellow gold coloured lager with an aroma of grass and glass. The taste is mostly gassy with a dull malt flavour. There are definitely worse lagers out there. I could be forced to drink this again.

Feb 9, 2007 Can. Pours a clear golden color with a longlasting white head. Sweet malty grassy aroma. The flavor is sweet malty with some bready and grassy hints. Long malty finish with some sweetness. Has some bitterness in the aftertaste.
