Not too nice aroma, very corny and showing very little hops. Flavour is thin, bordering on watery. Thin, slightly malt with a fake bitterness. Pretty ordinary. DerWeg (760), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 16, 2005 Updated: Aug 19, 2005Yep a golden yellow poured from the can... Light hops with some bitterness, I do agree. Some crisp malt presence to quench the day’s heat. This beer has corn in it besides malt but it’s reasonably good tasting without corn-worty artefacts - I feel it is well made macro suds. One thing is the carbonation is slightly sharp and the aftertaste not so clean, a tinge metallic perhaps. But leagues better than Becks, for sure. I’m surprised. But if I were drinking this in France I’d have a peristent vague uneasy sense I could better occupy my taste buds in said evirons. Could be worse but nothing memorable. mmmbeer (752), Austin, Texas, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 28, 2007 12 oz bottle poured into lager glass- poured light golden yellow, a frothy white head that slowly disappeared, aroma of yeast, possibly very hard water used to make the brew. Hits the mouth with a thin watery body, definate Euro-lager taste, finish a little lacking. Not impressed. Jayb0 (752), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 15, 2003 draft - a decent lager. Clean, slightly hoppy aroma, spritzy. Thin but fairly dense head. medium body, high carbonation, good malt/hop up front. Weak finish. Pawola22 (748), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a decent looking white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a little lace. Aroma is faint, but there are signs of hops and a sweet malt. Grassy and spicy. Taste is similar. More spicy hops than most lagers. Very refreshing despite its simplicity. Overall, a beer that brings back a lot of memories and tastes better than most shitty lagers here in America. thenick (744), North Bellmore, New York, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 18, 2007 Pale yellow with a nice white head and noticeable carbonation. Initial nice fruit flavor, crisp hop finish. Good for a pale lager, but I don’t know how much of a compliment that really is. djd07 (740), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours a pale golden color with a small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is wheat grass and floral. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a typical lager with corn mat and a bit skunky. Not too much going on with this pale lager from Kronenbourg. hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden
