Pours pale gold with a small white head that has decent retention. Areoma is sweet grass, vaguely sweet malt and not much else. Flavor is the same with a little extra graininess to it, it really is very bland and too sweet. I really disliked this beer especially at $10/6 pack.

The french should stick to wine and leave the beer to their leidenhauser wearing neighbours. Little head, crappy bottle shape and a nasty metally aftertaste. Cest merde.

Poured from tap a clear yellow color, small white head which left a decent lacing and a medium carbonation. Aroma has a very light sweet malt hint and some grassy hops. Beer has an okay flavor from the pale malt, not strong but not weak either and hops add a somewhat spicy and grassy flavor to it. Overall the beer was ok but not worth the full import prices normally charged.

I saw the cans and broken bottles of this beer over and over again in the gutters of Paris, so I knew it had to be good. I had it on tap at the Deux Moulins (the Two Windmills - where "Amelie" was filimed). A fun beer to order "Je voudrais une Mille Six-Cent Soixante Quatre, SVP". It was served in the peroper 1664 glass . Gold clear color with a thick head that dissipated quickly. No real discernable aroma. Mild, clean taste but not much flavor. While drinking this, I was staring at myself in the mirrored walls (we were sitting where the tabac booth was in the movie), something struck me. It was either the mirrors there, or it was the beer, but, I came to realize that, damn, I look good.

500 mL can. Deep gold with minimal head. Weak grassy aroma. Very thin body. Sweet, tinny. Not much finish. Not bad for a lager, but not much reason to try it again.

Bottle, 25cl. Pours a golden beer with a white head. The aroma is weak with notes of hops and flowers. The flavor is hops at first and later malt. The palate is weak with malt. Overall a good lawnmoverbeer.
