May 30, 2002 Very clean and distinct taste. Thirst quenching and not too hopsy. MUCH better out of a bottle or tap; the can ruines the flavor upon the initial sip, but moreso than it does to most beers.

Aug 27, 2007 Not bad but not a whole lot of flavor. Better then Heniken but not as good as say an HB or Hacker Pshore Lager. I wouldn’t go out of my way but I would drink it again.

May 22, 2006 I’ve always wanted to try this beer, since we couldn’t get this in Illinois, so I drove across the border to Kenosha, Wisconsin to get a 6-pack. Bottled. Pours an amber body, and a frothy head. It had a strong skunky scent, so I prepared for the worst....tasted pretty good! Strong hoppy taste and an astringent finish. Pretty refreshing! I wasn’t disappointed. Now that I had Kro 1664, I could finally now drink "real beer."

Aug 11, 2008 Love this, it gets a ripping by many , but its got a strong bitter taste matched by few lagers. Clean, crisp, perhaps a little skunky but I love it, I cant get it in Asia anywhere.

May 27, 2003 Very smooth - carbonation comparable to sparkling wine rather than other beers. Good balance of hops and sweetness. Good with food.
