I thought it was a bit sweet and all, but pleasant, and it had a great head on it. Ahh, 1664, that brings me back. snoot (277), Anaheim, California, USA

Malt nose, the flavor was better than the aroma led me to expect. I'm not the first to get this out of a beers of the world sampler, I see... punkeedo (484), San Antonio, Texas, USA

Simple lager with hints of wheat and lemon. Cloudy yellow color with an impressive head--almost looks like the foam on a well-made cappuccino. I was surprised by the simplicity and goodness of this beer. PetetheMeat (549), Hove, Denmark

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 20, 2004 Bottle: Good, frothy, white head that lasted well with good lacing. Clear, pale-gold colour. Initially a very ’organic’ nose that I couldn’t place as anything other than horse manure. However, it quickly turned into a fresh herbacious hop aroma. Tasted of mildly malty though somewhat thin. Some lemon notes, but really not any depth or complexity. Nothing special, but very easy to drink.
