2008. On tap in TX. A straightforward beer--but a good beer nonetheless. Simple lager with hints of wheat and lemon. Cloudy yellow color with an impressive head--almost looks like the foam on a well-made cappuccino. I was surprised by the simplicity and goodness of this beer.

Can, Infusion: Clear golden. Creamy white head. Good carbonation. Mild, hoppy aroma and flavour. Crisp. Nice macro brew.

I’ve noticed that people basically just bash any lager they come across...I dont know if it’s fighting the mass produced lager craze or something else, but I am sure that compared to most lager’s I’ve tried this one isnt bad at all. Certainly more taste than the big three...a little fruity with a dry, clean finish. Not fantastic, but its a decent lager and worth a try...cheap at world market.

Definite grassy hops in the nose. Some hay and cereal malts also. Sparkling golden appearance as expected. The flavor is bitter and a little on the earthy side which is a nice change. Malts are sweet and bread like. Pretty good example of the lager style. If you like lagers you will like this beer, otherwise you will not. Overall pretty typical but not bad. This is a good beer to have with a meal.

Average-golden with dead carbonation and a thin film that laced. Aroma of zoo pen, light honey malts and herbal hops. Very herbal, bitter flavor. Average and drinkable, but equally avoidable.

Bottled. Golden colour, with mediumsized white head. Aroma is malty with hints of hay and honey. Flavour is smooth malts and hops with hayish hints. Wellbalanced flavour, and very smooth lager. Pleasant to drink and refreshing.

Pale yellow. Weak in flavor and thin head. Not enough hop bitterness for me, but a good refreshing lager nonetheless.

I had this when in London. It wasn’t all that bad, and it was everywhere. It would be nice to find this in the States.
