head is not very impressive
clear-golden
smells hoppy and malty,smellssweet
tasts hoppyer than it smells, but not very hoppy, tasts less sweet than it smells, some hidden bread-taste.
aftertaste hoppy and a bit of bread-like taste too.
not very complex flavours but refreshing, not bad.better than much other ,more booring lagers.good to drink on a warm summerday outdoors, perhaps with a meal from "alsace2(the french region where it comes from),for example "flammkuchen",but not a beer to drink in the evening with good friends for discussing about the taste.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 11, 2007 Poured from a 330ml bottle into a shaker. This pale lager poured a crystal clear golden color with a ton of carbonation dancing around the glass. There was a big, fizzy white head on top that quickly disolved down to a thin layer of bubbles. Some faint lacing was left around the glass. The aroma was dominated by sweet malts, wheat, and a hint of bitter hops. The flavor was mainly barley malt with a slightly bitter, quick, dry finish. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with a bit too much carbonation. Very crisp. Overall, I found this lager to be a decent session beer. Not one I would actively seek out, but I would drink it again. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 20, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours an effervescent clear straw color with a good white head. Aroma is light and somewhat sweet, with a smell of malt, earth, floral hops, and an odd skunkiness. Taste is fairly full, with a malty body predominated by a mingling of sweet hops and earthy grains and yeast. Thoroughly average overall, and actually rather good for the style. jegerpenge (3), Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA does not count | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 29, 2007 Pale golden color with rapidly dissipating head. Lots of carbonation with slightly fresh, "green" taste, if that makes any sense. Crisp with slight alcohol finish. Hammster (187), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 26, 2007 Bottle. Clear gold with a cloudy and large white head. Enjoyable grassy aroma was pretty strong for a pale lager. Pretty sweet and malty flavor. Medium bodied. Finish is slightly filling and malty. Decent considering it comes from France.
