Jun 18, 2003 Pale golden color, head quickly gone, but leaving some lace. The nose is slightly grassy with some hops. The body contains some bitterness following a rather intense spritziness. Finishes with a light bitterness and some accompanying grassiness.

Mar 17, 2008 Draft at Fiddlestick’s in the Village NYC. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting a lot from this lager. And, not suprisingly, it didn’t have much to offer. It is a light golden lager, with a foamy head, weak nose, and a flavor to match. This brew is filled with a good bit of corn sweetness and a bit of a grassy fake hop note. Hmm, I wonder why. Hop Extract?? Are they first time home brewers? When in France, stick with the wine.

Mar 15, 2004 Kronenbourg 1664 is nothing but a light lager with a corny taste and aroma. I wasn't expecting much from this beer anyway.

Aroma is hoppy, herbal.
Flavour is more balanced, malty but ending in a short hoppy finish. Light-medium bodied.
