New chiled verion on tap in County Hotel, North Berwick. Citrus comes through, especially on tap. Bottled not too far behind. I hate the cans immensely. andrewfulton (3), flitwick, England does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 19, 2005 A lovely coloured beer with a great taste, but its head lasts about 30 seconds and has a chemical aftertaste. Nose is mild with a touch of sweet malt aroma. Flavor is actually pretty decent for a mass produced brew. Has a fair amount of sweet tone to it that lasts long on your tongue but carries a slight touch of body from the malts. The sweet stays on your tongue longer than anything else. Mouthfeel is good. Thick carbonation and a lasting flavor. Drinkability is very high. I could go for these all the time. This one is a surprise for me and I am glad to have 5 more to be drinking. I am one of the few who have actually tasted this beer straight from France itself. The stuff that they import to Canada is shit. But the actual local stuff is fantastic. A dark gold colour, with a nice white lasting head. Aroma of citrus, sweet flavor, with a semi-dry finish. A fantastically crafted beer. Please dont give up on it just yet, head over to France and you’ll see what I mean ;) Strangebrewer (221), Chatham, Ontario, Canada

Medium bodied, average carbonation. Flavour is sweet, honeyish, with malt and corn and finishes just bitter enough. jaid6 (26), Ohio, USA
