had a bottle of this in Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wis. USA. Poured with a big foamy off white head. Sweet nose offset by some bitterness. Perhaps a touch light struck from green bottle. Color is a burnished brass. Flavor is like aroma. Nice full body. Pleasant finish.

A pretty good lager, kind of like a toned down version of the K64 Blanc. Faint tastes of lemon and wine, a good palate with a very slight pleasant grittiness. The lemon and grit reminds me of pulp, kind of nice actually.

Slightly bland in terms of flavour for someone who is determined to find their perfect beer. But this lager does no harm if you aren’t paying too much attention. I have tried and trusted this beer to get me through hours of watching cricket in the sun and it has never let me down. Would I trust it to impress if I served it with a meal? No. This beer has a time and a place.

330ml bottle. Pours a honey amber with a fair sized head. Aroma is sour and hoppy. Tastes acidic and bitter. Smooth and balanced. Nice finish. Thin palate.

This came from France? Well damn, this is a good beer for a country known for their wines! Pours a simple, pale lager colour and head (nothing special). Aroma is clean with light malts and corn. The taste is where it really stands out. It stands out as a pale lager by being very sweet and tasty, it’s nice and clean with slight bitterness. I like it! One of my favourite lagers.

On tap at the Dog & Duck Pub. Pours clear light golden in color with a light head. Smell is light malt, and a touch of yeast. Taste is crisp, lightly hoppy and slightly citrusy, perhaps. A touch on the slightly sweet side, but still crisp and refreshing with a very subtle fruity edge to it. Not bad at all on a hot day.
