KnutAlbert (2322), Oslo, Norway Jul 21, 2008 50 cl can brought home from Prague.
Fresh, hoppy aroma, soft, round with a citrus sting in the tail. Not spectacular, but very refreshing. Fine summer beer.
BeerBlockaid (468), West Palm Biatch, Florida, USA Oct 9, 2008 Golden /amber pour, like tree sap containing the next DNA sample for a lackluster, headboring Jurassic Park. Frothy, and heavenly fluffed head Nose is of grains, candies, and malts. Taste is pretty metalic and bitter...Not the defined bitter we are all spoiled by with such great items as the Two Hearted Ale. This is more offputting at first. Like stale bread. But after a while, it get’s better. Reminds me of tour-euro beer, which has a sort of, "...is only good when im pubbed to death," charm. Either way, is ok. I could stomach a few of these in good company, but here on the computer typing up this on ratebeer.com, is kinda lonely. :P rederic (1444), montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 2, 2008 500ml bottle, golden color, with a frothy white head, leaving laces, sweet grainy pale malt nose, with some crunchy crystal malt, like a bowl of multi-grain cereals, with a hint of vanilla in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp honeyed pale malt character, with a bubblegum fruity note, and a nice flowery hop saaz citrusy, with a leafy accent, leading towards a mild hop bitternes finish. The_Sponge (163), Lynnwood, Washington, USA Sep 30, 2008 500 ml bottle purchase at Central Market in Mill Creek. Pours a pale golden yellow. A well-balanced pilsner, perfect for a warm fall day like today. Dorwart (1621), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA Sep 25, 2008 Thin white head of fine bubbles. Recedes quickly. Light skunky hops aroma initially then is dissipates to rice and cereal grains. Color is a medium gold. Mellow flavor with more cereal and rice. Not an unplesant flavor. Kind of lumps in the back of your throat after a while. A little bit oily. Finishes slick and dry with a little bit of lingering bitterness. I expected much MUCH worse from this knowing the track record of my boy etowneraser. daniele (839), Italy Sep 16, 2008 chiara schiuma media discreta persistenza note leggermetr luppolate erebacee in bocca non molto aromatiche malto ma poco miele il luppolo c’e ma non è in rilievo medio amaro
