Pours a nice mahogany body under a fluffy, off-white head. Roasted caramel malts to the nose. Ditto taste with a dry ending. Easy to drink (21.10.2008). | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 5, 2008 I was rather surprised by the appearance and taste of this. Almost black and the taste is very stouty. Fairly bitter and dry and hints of coffe. Plenty of taste for such a low strength. Ober (1211), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands
