I wouldn’t go out of my way for this when so many other nice schwarzbiers are available. Sampled at the 2nd Annual Treasure Coast Beerfest in Ft. Pierce. Narnad (709), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA

Aroma has a sweet caramel note, light toastedness and some mild roasted malt notes. Flavor is mostly caramel, toasted MO malt, light roasted malt, light grassy hop with an overall sweet profile. Palate is very thin but almost no carbonation. Overall the brew was kinda light but a decent brew. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 19, 2009 Bottle. Pours dark reddish brown with a 3 finger dense tan head that leaves nice lacing. The nose is vegetal – with a tomato juice-like aroma, caramel malt and spice. The taste is spice, malt and light ashy cocoa. Medium bodied. Not very good. drowland (1417), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
