Aroma: sweet dark caramel aroma with a touch of roasted, light smokey earthyness for balance
Flavor: dry chocolate flavor, just a hint of dark caramel sweetness, lots of earthyness, light roasted, light bitter finish rolls out of the roasted and earthyness

Jan 16, 2009 Dark brown with a small head. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, chocolate and fruity hop notes. Flavour is dark malt, chocolate and dark fruit. Medium bodied and good bitterness in the finish.

Jan 10, 2009 Had it with a garlic pizza and was positively surprised. Some harsh tones of bitter caramel, together with smooth smooky chocolate. Some herbs, like coriander and bog myrtle. Very little head.
Drinkable.

Jan 9, 2009 Brewed in the Czech Republic... Pours black with an ultra thin off white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, and malts. Taste is of very mild chocolate, with some hoppy notes. The mouthfeel is very thin and watery, but still pleasant enough to drink.

Jan 4, 2009 Blah. A subpar schwarzbier. Aroma was near nil. Could pick up some light bread and chocolate notes. Pour was a a deep near black with a thin tan ring for a head. Taste was very thin and watery but nice a drinkable. The low ABV makes it seem like you could drink it all day. Very watery and thin with a light roasted malt flavor and just minor notes of chocolate and bitter malt.

Jan 1, 2009 Can, 4,4% Swedish version. Roasted malt, light salty aroma. Some light notes of chocolate in the flavour together with some bread. Quite thin mouthfeel but better than other beers of this type. Not a favourite but definitely drinkable.

Dec 9, 2008 Sweet malts on the nose, bready. Pours very dark brown no head. Dark malts, hints of chocolate, bitter chocolate, grassy hops, very fresh tasting, good roasty flavors but light and easy to drink.
