| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2009 500ml bottle. Pretty attractive appearance-wise, deep brown-amber color with a massive soapy. Sweet malt and classic Noble hops aroma. Lot caramel flavor, with a watery mouthfeel. The hops are very minimal and downplayed, but that works alright for the style. Not unlike a Dunkel in most respects, with some sweet chocolate pungency. A little mellowed out, but that could also be from being on the shelves/warehouses too long. Pleasant enough, but rather simple and unexceptional. hawthorne00 (153), Australia

Coffee and chocolate nose, maybe some nuts and licorice too. Thin body. Some roasty malts and cocoa. Nutty dry finish. Muggus69 (566), Sydney, Australia

Deep brown colour with a sting of red.
Nice pale brown head, which remains creamy, soft carbonation.
Light roasty, caramell smell.
Taste is a rather sour and sweet-watery mixture, body is medium.
Flavour’s sweet and roasted coffeebeens-liked, some hops’ hiding, too.
Finish is coffeebitter, which lasts long.
Passes somehow, but it’s not the real for me... deyholla (761), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
