The aroma is fresh, malty, grainy and it has some sweetness. The taste is malt hoppy, with citrus touch and a good bitterness. The aftertaste has also some bitter. A good pilsner. harrisoni (6947), Ashford, Kent, England

A normal 5% premium lager. OK hop sting on end. ONly ber that has had a slight hint of puke in 24 hours of drinking lagers. Tejas (704), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 3, 2008 Yellow with foamy bubbly white head. A bit beery aroma. Average drinkability, the mouthfeel is a tad grainy, dry and rough but one can get through it.I think those who expect this to be an imperial pilsner as opposed to a pilsner maybe a tad disapointed. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Draught @ Albatros. Large creamy white head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Clear sparkling yellow color. Aromas of fresh grass, mild dusty Saaz hops, hint of citrus. Some underlying caramel and grains. Light bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light sweet and bitter flavor in balance. Light dry and bitter finish. scotty (834), Scotland
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 28, 2008 I bought a bottle of this from Peckhams in Edinburgh, at least I think it was this! The label was different to the one in the picture, and I dont think it mentioned "imperial" either, at least the strength is the same! It was a good golden colour, with a big firm white head, it’s slightly hazy tho! The nose is very lightly malted, thats about all I can say about it. Pretty bland stuff smooth and again lightly malty. Finish is weak and short lived. Another of those "had a lot worse, but...." beers.
