Bottle sample thanks to Milos- A medium deep and clear gold with a fizzy bleached white cap. Nose of grassy hops, saaz, lemon, fruity pale malts. Tastes quite hoppy and grassy, a bit floral, lemon and biscuit follow. Very clean tasting with a pleasant bitterness that lingers. A good session beer. Thanks Milos!

Poured a clear yellow/brown with a foamy white head. Aromas of rice and grain. Taste is slightly creamy with some slight bitterness. Finish is grassy and floral. Slightly metallic taste as well.

Tried a sample at Brewfest Tallahassee. Pretty typical - light malt, basically no hop, minerally, tastes like bread and metal.

On tap at a bar in Prague - pours a golden yellow. Flavour is bread, mild hops, with a nice bite. Solid, but unspectacular Czech pilsner.

Location: A .5 liter bottle from my Uncle’s fridge, I have no idea where it was purchased as he got it from someone else, 10/5/09

Overall Impression: This was an alright beer. Nothing too exciting, a relatively simple version of the Bohemian Pils. It leaned slightly to the sweet side, but other then that I didn’t find too much distinguishing about this one. Decently refreshing but ultimately forgettable.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain/bread), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of metal. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Straightforward, simple, and a bit grainy.

Bottle… Clear golden lager with a large, fluffy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is a bit restrained, but I’m able to pick up peppercorns and honey. Light to medium-bodied with lively carbonation. The flavor is grainy, but well-balanced and refreshing. Crisp, mashy finish.
