Bottle. Pours light amber, rocky, dense off-white head, quickly dissapating. Looks very nice in a flute glass. Aroma is robust hops - grassy, lightly floral, mild fruitiness of peaches, orange peel, grapes- as well as fresh dough. Flavor is very bready, tastes of soft bread, mildly sweet. This maltiness is neatly balanced with fruity hop notes. Slight dustiness also detectable. Mild lingering bitterness, resin and tartness in the finish. Palate is lively, full, slightly oily.

Bottle courtesy of slob in trade. Pours a medium amber with a thin white head. Cbonation is surpisingly large in both quantity and bubble size. Nose is vanilla malt with whisps of crisp hop. Body is also crisp and tight. Aclear medium gold in the matching .5L glass....also supplied by slob in a prior trade. (gotta love the slob.) Finish is short and flat wnd has a good bite of tart hops. I think this would be great if’n it was 85 degrees and sunny out. A bit more body is needed.

Bottle from Total Wine. Very light, clean aroma of light malt and grassy hop. Brassy golden color with a decent white, stiffish head that left lace behind (not Belgian, but it tried). A bit thin in body with creamy carbonation. Slight bready malt sweetness adequately offset by grassy hop. The hop seems to build into the finish. It’s arguably crisp and clean. It’s flavorful. Feels good around the tongue. Tasty pilsener, though not sharpishly bitter. The bitter really does accumulate in the mouth.

Not bad as far as Bohemian Pilseners go. The aroma is above average as well as the appearnce, but the flavour isn’t anything special and it doesn’t go down as smooth as I personally like. I’m not a big fan of these types of beers so I might not be the best judge in this case.

The aroma is slightly hoppy with traces of flowers, maybe rose petals. its appearance is classic for a pilsner- amber and clear. Flavor is more hoppy than the aroma would make you think... a great pilsner but personally not my favorite. Palate is a little sour and a bubbly finish... tickles my nose! Overall a nice pilsner to buy for a guy who likes hops!

Bottle 0.5 l. Pilsener looks, fairly short head. Fresh nose with a touch of malts on a grassy hop base. Flavor is somewhat surprise free with subtle hoppy bu/itterness and a nice malty background. I suspected a bit braver saaziness, but didn’t quite deliver. Good, but basic pilsener.

Deep brassy gold with a dense white head displaying good retention and subtle lace. Cereal and saaz aroma, very nice. Biscuity malt and yummy euro-hop flavour, very bitter hop finish. A solid pils.

purchased at central market in poulsbo, washington. pour is a clear lager yellow with a medium snow white thick creamy head, good lacing. smell is of grain, yeast, some sweetness, malt, fresh mowed grass. taste is sour, grainy, has a citrus bite, grass, slight bitterness in the end.
