Aroma of straw, cereal and grassy, herbal and lemony hops. Light cereal malt flavor, smoothly off-sweet and cut with lemon/lime hops. Noticed a bit of green apple as well in aroma and flavor. Light to medium bodied. Nothing really to stand out from the herd, but a quite drinkable import pils. Inexpensive bottle ($1.29). M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 29, 2007 Golden with a thin white head. Malty with a slight astringent hop touch, some apple cider. Mouth is very balanced, quite watery, some grass and malt sweetness. Palate much of the same, quite clear, no lingering, but right on the palate, some bitterness. Not something I’d go out of my way for, but if it were there, I’d maybe have a bottle. larsga (2959), Oslo, Norway

Strong grainy apple taste with metallic, earthy straw notes. Very harmonic and unified taste. Clean palate. Dry, grassy metallic aftertaste. Very nice! Good example of the style. Aroma of graiy pale malts and grassy hops. The flavor is grain, grassy, slight sweetness, and mild bitterness. Thin bodied, better than i expected, but that isn’t saying much. This was probablly the widest served beer in Prague I found, other than Pilsner Urquell. I quite liked it - a bit darker than most pilsners and a touch sweeter. It slipped down nicely. I enjoyed necking a few pints of this on street cafes in Prague in the late afternoon perving over the local hotties as the sun went down! Braudog (3762), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jul 18, 2007 500ml bottle dated Sep 26 ’06. Dark golden and virtually still with a thin but non-budging head of white foam. Sugary malty aroma -- I expected a bready brew, but this isn’t taht meaty. Instead this is only moderately bodied with a somewhat sweet character and slightly yeasty even. Only mildly bittered. Just OK. (#3207, 7/16/2007) mjg74 (1997), La Mesa, California, USA
