| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 27, 2009 Sampled at Lundeen’s Brew Ha-Ha 2009. A deep golden pour with medium white head. Aroma has a light, sweet malt note, floral hoppiness and a grainy/straw presence. Flavor starts off with strong grainy, straw note with a modest amount of grassy and floral hops notes. Overall a bit too much graininess for my tastes and the grassy note was a bit harsh and didn’t really work in honest opinion. Rciesla (3790), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2009 50cl bottle, as shown. Clean golden colour. Big, soapy white head that does not last very long. Rather faint aroma of hops, grass and malt. Same mix prevails in the flavour, only with more character and strength. Still, with medium carbonation and mouthfeel, this is essentially a lighter-bodied beer, and fans of Pilsener (like Urquell or Budvar) may be disappointed. However, this is NOT a Pilsener, it’s a lager (and it says so on the bottle, too). As such, it’s less bland than most American blond beers (like Miller’s Pee or Anheuser Busch would-be-Bud), and easily drinkable. rustychiles (1058), Mesa, Arizona, USA
