| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 21, 2006 Poured a golden color, nice initial head, solid lacing. The aroma was soft and gentle for a pilsner, not overly grassy, smooth honey. The flavor was hopped, but not strongly hopped, light grass, some hay, good balance. Mouthfeel was full-bodied for the style, but didn’t finish sticky or sweet. Less dry than many a pilsner. I really enjoyed this one relative to its peers. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 13, 2006 Only trialled a small sample of this given to me by the manager of a beer store. Importers were looking at them stocking it, and he kindly asked for my opinion. I, of course, had to oblige. Poured a bright honey gold with fine spurts of carbonation. Head rose and fell, could have been the glass, but it disappeared altogether. Light touch of lemon and pepper shines through its clean toasted malt nose. Dry, peppery and grainy in the mouth. Very little sweetness here. Nice base of summer grains fades into bitter and dusty hops in back that peak before a clean, crisp, peppery hop swallow. Not much length. Good firm body, a little fizzy but otherwise pleasing to the palate. This wasn’t too bad at all. Nice summer refresher atleast, pity the store won’t be stocking it though. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 13, 2006 Fairly standard European lager aroma. Very pale light beer, a big white head, common bottle, nice foil neck. Nothing special going on here. Lightly tart, lightly metallic - foam is very metallic. Medium body. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 13, 2006 On the pour, a thick white head, foamy. Appearance is golder and clear. Decent smell. From the looks of it, it seems as though it would be great, but at first taste, its plain. Not much of anything to speak of. Slight bitterness, clean finish. This needs to be kicked up a notch, a big notch! A very drinkable beer, but very boring.
