For once I can’t complain about an Eastern European beer. It wasn’t bad because it did not have much flavor. Chlorine and skunk in a mild way. No hops at all unlike the commercial desc. lying bastards.

Bottle. Born by date 12.04.05. Medium sized white fizzy head, poor lacing, carbonation, and a yellow hue. Only aroma I could get was malt. Flavor was lightly bitter, malty and mildly hoppy. Tingly mouthfeel.

Pours a golden colour with a thin creamy head. Grassy aroma a bit floral as well. Nice hoppy flavour a light sweetness and lively carbonation. All in all a pretty good bohemian pils.

I forgot to rate this before. It was nice, good flavour, but a little like other lagers from the Czech Republic. NOt bad in shape and good malty flavour, but a little annoying if warm.

Draught. Sweet malts with just enough hop to prevent from cloying but not great.

A dark gold body with a fairly thick white head. The aroma has some earthy grass with a hint of bell peppers. There is also carrot and a hint of ginger. The taste is dry with some bell pepper and potatoes. There is also a hint of bread crust. This is a decent pils that is great for summer.

Pours a deep golden color with a decent white head. Nice spicy hop pilsner aroma similar to Urquell. Soft smooth pilsner taste that is slightly sweet pale malt, wet French bread and flowery hops. A very good Czech pils!
