Balanced flavour with the bready malt accent you’d expect from a Bohemian 12P. Moderate bitterness and background grassy hop notes. Beautiful appearnace. Definitely the best tasting Czech beer I have had in British Columbia, it beats Czechvar or PIlsner Urquell. It is bitter but this is what a real beer is all about. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is an expert in Czech beers or lagers in general, it’s a true original. lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2006 Crystal clear golden color with big bubble off white head. Classic sweet pilsner aroma with a bit of acidity. Flavor is nice. The malts aren’t too sweet and the hops are strong enough to compete. Leaves a lingering bitter tartness or maybe acidic taste. Just enough body to avoid being watery. Finn (1510), Tromsř, Norway

Some aroma of hay. Leaves a rounded impression with a sweet bitter aftertaste. A bit "heavy". KI=2 sneagrams3 (1757), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 5, 2006 500ml bottle. Clear and golden copper. Soapy white head. Crisp hop nose. Medium and dry. Grassy and skunky hops. Mild malt roast. Crisp and bitter but with a short lived sweet cereal note. Bubblegummy and lively. I remember it being nice enough. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Aug 4, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was mostly lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated orange colored body. The aroma was mild malt mild hop and mild wheat. The thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of malt and hops that reminded me of a mild malt liquor. Not one that I would likely buy again. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2006 Nice orange tint to this golden body. Light white head with an aroma of malt hops with a touch of citrus. Nice hops balance the bready malt character. Nice bitterness to the finish.
