Pours a deep gold with a pure white head but fades. Aroma is metallic hops, herbal, some dms, and light skunk. Cracker and bready malts in the flavor followed by a medium bitterness and light astringency. This wasnt that good and I think they had just got it into the store so it couldnt have been that old. Made a decent pilsener appearance, poured a clear golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing, good carbonation.
Had a nose of lemons, spicy hops and sweet biscuity, pale malts.
A malty crisp, dry and smooth light bodied mouthfeel, above average drinkability.
Decent Czech pilsener taste, dry biscuity and bready malts, lemony and spicy, grassy hops and a dry lemony and sweet malty finish.
Not a great Czech pilsener, but not a bad one either, has a nice balanced taste and is quite quaffable.

Aroma is herbal, grassy pasture hops, with sticky malt. Taste is grassy, resinous and bitter with bready lager yeast and the typical malt sweetness from Eastern lagers. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly resinous, with smooth and subdued carbonation. This beer fared better in a rerate, but it still has a buttery malt flavor that I don’t care for too much. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 23, 2006 A nice, well rounded Bohemian Pils, pouring a golden body with a tall, bubbly white head. The aroma is warm buttered bread sprinkled with bitter herbs and grasses. It tastes of sweet malts and herbal hops, the latter winning out in a lengthy bitter finish. Decent.

Golden with a large white head, nice lacings. Aroma moderate malty and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter, not that bitter, more round. Light/medium body, soft carbonated.
