Fresh hoppy nose with some floral notes. Golden, not much carbonation and white beautiful head. Fresh taste, not very malty but with characteristic czech hoppyness in aftertaste. Creamy mouth feel. A super pilsner.

I had this on draft at a bar in Astoria, NY that is run by a Czech family. They really take care of their beers here because everything on draught was incredibly fresh. Slightly mustard yellow copper. Frothy head that lingered shortly but died out ater the first few sips. Nose is graham crackers. Nice and sweet, sharp malts. Cracked wheat and biscuits but with a sweet overtone. Hops are beautiful. Cottony herbalness in the hops. Bitter and slightly harsh but nothing over the top. Flavors reflect this with a lovely apricoty malt. Hops are bitter and really shine through. Bitter and sharply so. Excellent beer in m y opinion.

Bottled. Copper/golden pour and white head. Aroma of malt, hops, and bread - more of a Dortmunder or Helles than a Pils. Light bitterness in the taste, a little saazy. Eh.

Bottle. Pours a nice golden with a white head. Sweetish, slightly hoppy, mostly cereal aroma. Flavour is sweetish with notes of cereals and plastic. Medium bitter finish with slightly acidic as well as metallic notes. A bit dryish. Not impressed. 22-02-06.

it has a clear and pale golden colour with a very ephemeral foam; the nose is grassy and a little bit oily; a medium malt body and a tart, rather aggressive, bitterness; the finish is dry, long and herbal - ok beer but not more

(bottle) Clear and deep golden colour with a short foamy white head. Floral hoppy nose with sweet malts. Slightly sweet grainy taste, light to medium bodied, dry and herbal hoppy finish, medium bitter and a bit short. Decent Lager.
