Draft. Amber with a nice creamy eggshell head. Light citrus nose, crackery malts. Odd berry like fruitiness; not unpleasant but unexpected. Strangely sweet, could use more hop crispness. Medium palate.

Sample at Total Wine Beerfest, Jacksonville Fl 04-18-2009. Golden beer with a medium white head. Czech lager flavor, but not superlative. Not bad.

500ml Bottle: Light grain and pale malt aroma. Poured amber/gold/apple juice in color with a small white head that lasted around the edges. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of slight caramel, water, grains, pale malts, and some earthiness. Light to medium body. Prickly, slightly dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Slightly sweet, slight caramel finish is dryish.

Draft, 500 ml cans. Golden with nice big white head. A good beer just not very exiting. The bitternes is less than in other, more famous, Czech lagers. However that’s what I like about it; it’s mild and tasty, you can have lots of it. And it’s still way better than almost every other continental lager.

Golden colored brew. Aroma is grainy, slightly hoppy. Flavor is grainy, some fruits, sweet, some hops. Not bad, but kinda dull.

En välsmakande öl som infriar alla förväntningar. Inget spektakulärt, men ändĺ klart över medel. Tjeckerna vet sannerligen hur man brygger öl.

Golden with a thick white head. Subtle hop spiciness. Medium-light bodied. Fairly well balanced and an enjoyable beer.
