bottle, 50cl from superbest allerřd. pours clear dark yellow with a small thick white head. aroma is slightlly sweet, slightly corn, slightly hoppy. not weak as such, but very mild. flavor is slightly sweet, well balanced by tasty bitterness, slight sawdust, flovery hops, a mild pilsener, but quite tasty. notes of citrus fruits, notes of the sweetness you get when you eat grapefruit with powdered sugar.

Pint bottle. Pours a clear dark gold with a minimal white head. The nose is lemon zest, light malt and a touch of hops. Taste is sweet malt, honey, citrus and light hops with a normal pilz bitter finish. Medium creamy mouth feel. Not bad, definitely refreshing.

From bottle, amber color with small head, unpleasant metalic aroma with some vanilla notes and malt, Malty flavor with some sweetness and caramel, alcohole can be sensed as well, some pleasant hops into the finish and nice flowery aftertaste. OK

Bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a clear orangish color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is a toasty grain and herbal hops. Well, flavor is much of the same. Light to medium body. This beer lacks that nice Pils finish. Worth a try.

Bottle, a gift from a well meaning aunt. Bog standard pils appearence. Standard flavour too. Better than many of the German versions that I have reciently tried. Quite pure with no rough edges. Just pretty boring.

Very boring and bland. Not as good as their schwarzbier. Aroma was weak. Stale light caramel malt. Pour was a dirty medium gold with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was stale and bland. Buttery with light malt and biscuit with no aftertaste. Very boring with just a little carbonation.

Feb 3, 2007 Bottle in Dublin. Yellow color. An excellent Czech pilsener. Eggy scent. Carbonated. Prickly mouthfeel. Smooth finish.
