Bottle sample thanks to Milos- A medium deep and clear gold with a fizzy bleached white cap. Nose of grassy hops, saaz, lemon, fruity pale malts. Tastes quite hoppy and grassy, a bit floral, lemon and biscuit follow. Very clean tasting with a pleasant bitterness that lingers. A good session beer. Thanks Milos!

This isn’t a typical Czech lager. Darker gold, and a bit cloudy, it gives the impression of greater power. The actual drinking doesn’t quite, in the end, pull through, though. It has a smoother, fuller quality than, say, Pilsener Urquell; but the lack of hop bite seems to actually detract from the bready, yeasty flavors found in the classic pilsener. This is a good distraction occasionally from more typical Czech or German lagers, but I wouldn’t make it a staple.

Dark gold, white head. Cereal malts and slight floral hop nose. Malt is a bit too prominent over some citrus. Finish lacks bitterness. Dull Pils.

I am not impressed with this beer. The aroma is a little off-putting, but there is an interesting barnyard quality to it. The head lingered only momentarily and left a wispy, white remnant. Color is a mix of straw and gold. The taste brings forward the maltiness of the beer and it is somewhat crisp. Lingers a short bit but nothing stands out. I had hoped for better with this one.

I think I can smell somethink, it might be malt. Looks yellowish, its fizzy so probably not apple juice. Taste is faint but the malt flavour is nicely blended into the later part of the palate, but it’s still pretty weak. It was a bit offensive at first, you get used to it soon enough but it’s still not that great.
