Draft. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, hops, and straw, as well as light notes of metal from the alcohol. The finish is bitter.

On tap. Clear deep golden with a creamy, off-white head. Malty and lightly caramellish nose. Medium body with sweet malts with a whiff of caramel. Dry, lightly hoppy finish. A very clean offering. 280608

Draught at MacKinley’s Inn, Stockholm. Clear deep golden, rocky head. Evident saaz hop aroma. Fairy sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. There’s a touch of vegetables before drying saaz hops sets in. Light to medum bodied with medium bitterness. Possesses just a mere hint of the character that made Krusovice famous before the commercialization set in.

From tap at Plachetnice, Pilsen. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is hoppy and cornish. Flavour holds a nice hoppy bitterness and mild dry malt base. Light caramel malt note. Ends dry and bitter.

Bottle, 4.7%. Peppery aroma. Clear dark orange colour. Stable tan head. The flavour is sweetly malty with a little pepper and some rough hoppiness. Good mouthfeel.

Draught. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is yeast, some malts and mild yeasty and grassy notes. Flavour is grassy with some rubbery notes. Still quite wellbalanced and nice.

Copper brown clear color, good creamy white head. Metallic, sweet malty aroma. Malty, a bit sweet flavor. Quite ordinary, but well-made Czech pale lager.

Tap @ Plachetnice, Plzen.
Pours golden with the slightest haze. A small, creamy and lightly off-white head on top. Aroma is mild, sweet malty, light caramel and a little butter. A little thin, but lowish carbonation makes up for it. Flavour is okay, though a little dull - until a good dose of hops come through once again for a Krusovice.
