Fresh from the tank this beer is very drinkable indeed, however the pasteurised and treated stuff on tap in several bars is rather bland and fizzy at first yet with a slightly sickly aftertaste, not unlike ageing apple-juice. Sweeter than I prefer from Bohemian lager, and a hint of hangover enhancing chemicals. Not woeful, but not one of the better Czech beers.

Clear deep golden with medium white creamy head. Sweet aroma with fruity and caramel notes. Sweet and hoppy flavor with caramel and floral notes leading it to a bitter end.

On tap at the Vojanuv dvur in Prague, a place to be avoided. Their dark beer was definitely off, and this was not well kept, either. Rather anonymous lager that needs to be on better from to face the competiton. Hops, malt, but a sourish palate that was not pleasant.

Can. A golden beer with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of hops, leading to a bitter finish. Not very exciting.

Draft, Bottle and Can. Forget the can unless you are stuck on a train. Draft and bottle groovy tho. Talk about one beer leading into another. Yikes. Easy drinking. Not much on the nose but the finish hops are what stand out for me. Medium maltiness yields a shortlived sweet that rolls into the hoppy finish.

Can, 50 cl. Clear, deep golden, medium white head. Bready malty aroma, some butterscotch notes, vitually no hops. Medium bodied, a bit too much carbonated. Long and bitter finish.

Can 500 ml lager with a real grainey corn flavor, no aroma and no finish, very meager. Their other brands are much better
