Commercial Description:
A special Krušovice lager - The symbol of the Musketeers has been connected to the Krušovice Brewery for many years. Musketeer beer was being produced in first half of the 1980's and the Royal Brewery of Krušovice has formed a link with this tradition by establishing the special Musketeer Lager. This beer is brewed in accordance with a special recipe developed by Krušovice's Master Brewers. This lager beer has a strong golden colour, a pleasant bitter hop taste, a full sweet body and a compact foam. A combination of several types of Bohemian and Moravian malts in a precisely defined ratio, natural spring water from the Křivoklát Woods and hops from the Žatec area.

Canned(500ml). -directly from can on few locations in Praha. Nice and pleasant hop aroma with grassy and fruity notes. Dry hoppy finish. The best macro beer I’ve had in Praha. For sure , I’ll drink it again.

Clear medium orange hue with a fluffy, white head. Pure malt aroma with some cookies, pepper and flowers. Behind that, some very light toffee and lemongrass. Lightly sweet and lightly bitter at first, with floral and bready flavours. The finish is more distinctly bitter with elements of pepper and lemon zest. Medium-light bodied with a really creamy (for the size) texture and soft, but lively, carbonation. 50cl can.

Bottled and Draught. My favourite of the common beers in Prague. Similar to most Czech beers in not being too heavy, but backs up the lightness with a strong, clear and pleasant hoppy flavour. Excellent colour

[on tap in Czech Republic] Dark amber with an off-white, flanel blanket, which formed good lacing. Nice fresh hops aroma with some raisiny, toasty, brown ale like notes. Toasty, apple-raisin in the flavour with some obvious saaz hops and low bitterness. Light body, low carbonation. Is this a brown ale / Pilsner hybrid?

This pilsener has an unusual thick creamy head of foam. The malt did dominate the hop flavor.

Bottle. Light toffee malt aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Nutty toffee malt flavor with moderate grass hops finish. A bit light but very nice taste.
