Commercial Description:
A connection between aroma and taste - Krušovice light beer has a light golden colour, a harmony between aroma and a slightly bitter taste, an excellent palate and a rich foam. When you drink this beer you notice a pleasantly refreshing taste which will lead you to want another. This beer is brewed using the most modern and technological facilities in combination with the traditional Krušovice raw materials; superior quality Czech malts, natural spring water from the Krivoklát Woods and hops from the Žatec area.

Bottle. Golden colour with a medium-sized white head. Malty aroma. The flavour is slightly sweet and malty with notes of hops. Very smooth mouthfeel.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a nice white dense head. Aroma of fresh malt, very light hops, alcohol and a bit of metal. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong assertive maltiness with some good sweet tastes and a mild spiceyness to the end of the beer. Aftertaste shows mostly malt - with a good backbone and a very light hoppiness as well. Overall, just another good Czech beer - definitely one to try if you can find it! I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased from Tesco in central Praha for 7 Czech Crowns (~50 US Cents) today, on 13-March-2008 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Bottled. Nice looking new label. Pale straw color with frothy white head. Moderate malty aroma with intense grassy hop smell. Medium sweet malty hazelnut character with crisp, bitter, grassy, medium lasting hop finish. Clear, thin body, decent carbonation, easy drinkable watery texture.

bottle, pours light gold, tall frothy white head. Floral hop aroma, smells really good. Malty body with some sweet malt flavors coming through, leads to a peppery/hop bitter finish. The finish is light and makes the mouth feel crisp and wanting more. This is a nice pilsner.

50cl Bottle @ home. Clear copper golden colour, white head. Grassy, malty and a bit lemony aroma. Flavour is somewhat sweet, dry and watery. Not great.

Bottle brown, 500 ml, 10P
Appearance: Pours bright, nice, shiny, well filtered and perfectly clear golden body, not pale in colour though carbonation is medium to weak visually. The head is minute, weak and rapidly disappearing, totally no lacing.
Aroma: Wet fur, reminding pee after a night, weak, very poor aroma, something between weak grainy smell mixed with grease, nothing to write about, very low hoppyness level.
Flavour: Front is wattery with noticable bubbling impression on the tongue, a bit accidic and dominated by water, but when the palate warms can feel a kind of pronounced grainyness and easily identyfied malted barley. Almost not bitter and wattery. A kind of refreshing, quite highly carbonated Bohemian Pilsener for a hot day or to dine with. Reminding me of a Czech version of Carlsberg to be more precise. Finish duration is medium.
Palate: A bit salty and grainy. In fact palate is the strongest accent of this beer, on the other hand apart from carbonation and maltyness, no considerable hoppy accent. Finish feel is salty and grainy.
