Commercial Description:
A connection between aroma and taste - Krušovice light beer has a light golden colour, a harmony between aroma and a slightly bitter taste, an excellent palate and a rich foam. When you drink this beer you notice a pleasantly refreshing taste which will lead you to want another. This beer is brewed using the most modern and technological facilities in combination with the traditional Krušovice raw materials; superior quality Czech malts, natural spring water from the Krivoklát Woods and hops from the Žatec area.

Tap @ Platniche, Plzen.
Pours very clear golden with a nice, frothy, medium, staying, white head. Aroma is pleasantly malty with a weak grassy hops note. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour has a light metal off-flavour, rather sweet, but still rather crisp and with good hops. Okay.

Bottled in Prague. Refreshing, fine balance between hops and malt, but this does not excite anyone in a land awash with great pilseners.

Tap at the krusovice place in Plzen. Alround rating: Solid biscuity pale malt, peppery herbal hop, very drinkable stuff indeed.

Lukewarm bottle. Not a world of difference between this and Holba ’Classic’. One-dimensional pine/eucalyptus and cardboard Saaz. A sliver of freshbread to finish, but it’s largely imaginary. A take-it-or-leave-it simple taste. You either take it, leave it or tip it into an ashtray and balance it on the window ledge to see if the pigeons will drink it...

Bottle. Almost identical to musketyr? Same sourish feel and light flavor with very little bitterness. Boring.

Bottle......................not bad, but it doesn’t hold up with the better pilsners offered by the Czechs.

Sweet and smooth in the sun. Body medium and lovely god in the glass. nose is faint. I did actually have two but the second as a chaser to a large glass of Becherovka.
