Commercial Description:
A connection between aroma and taste - Krušovice light beer has a light golden colour, a harmony between aroma and a slightly bitter taste, an excellent palate and a rich foam. When you drink this beer you notice a pleasantly refreshing taste which will lead you to want another. This beer is brewed using the most modern and technological facilities in combination with the traditional Krušovice raw materials; superior quality Czech malts, natural spring water from the Krivoklát Woods and hops from the Žatec area.

Refreshing pilsener. As often a high quality Czech beer. Golden color, but short lasting head

Very pale beer with little aroma or flavour, maybe some herby hops and grainy hints. Dryish finish with some bitterness - or is it gas? it's hard to tell sometimes. (Draught in Café Royal, Praha)

Tried in a restaurant, next to Troja Zoo, Prague. Bright gold colour, minimal head and some lacing. Slight hoppy aroma. Extremely tasty and refreshing beer - the best Czech 'light' so far. Some tartness initially, then a long malty finish. Fairly heavy and nicely bitter, some apple in there too. Not the crispest, but commendably full in flavour.

(Bottled) Almost clear, golden color with a medium, frothy and lacy head. Mild, buttery aroma with some grassy hops and metal-acidic hints. Moderately acidic, mildly buttery-malty, slightly salty flavor with light hoppiness and hints of metal. Quite light-bodied, but not watery with slightly fizzy carbonation. Pretty light and sparingly hopped for a pils, but easy to drink. Not very interesting. (Bottled, rated 1/27/2004, was 5-2-5-3-10=2.5) Slightly deeper golden color than in a typical lager. Quite strong, hoppy aroma. Smooth flavor with nicely biting hoppy bitterness. Finish is dry and bitter. Could perhaps use more malt for less watery palate. A well made pilsener, but nothing special in it.

Got this beer from a colleague that visited Prague. Very pale golden color with little or no head. The body is almost non-existing and the hop aroma and bitterness is too vague to my likes. Bland.

After having so many pilseners, what can i say about this particular one? Nothing special, ok, just another pilsener.

For a decent description: check the other raters. I cannot say anything more about pilseners than hoppy or bitter or light yellow. Average pils.
