Lemon skunk aroma as soon as the cap is lifted. The lemon (but not the skunk) fades after it is poured into a glass. Clear golden beer, nicely effervescent with a fluffy white head and good retention. Odd grainy flavor at first, quite herbal and a bit grassy as well, but sadly these are not enjoyable at all. Decent enough body for the style, smooth on the tongue. Thanks to the Blondestar for the bottle.

Oct 5, 2009 Bottle: Clear, yellow, skunky with grain and husk in the nose. Metallic and further husky flavor. Bah! I’ll take the rum.

Jul 20, 2009 Bottle attained while on a cruise: Pours a light golden with perfect clarity and a fading/fizzy white head. The aroma is skunked, metallic, some cereal grains, and a corn like sweetness. Light fizzy feel. The flavor is less skunked than the aroma suggests- has a mild sweetness reminiscent of dough and some light white bread notes. Just a touch of straw like grass notes of the back. I’ve had worse Caribbean pale lagers.

May 17, 2009 Drank on a black sand beach in beautiful Dominica. Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is skunked hops, malt and water. This beer is very much like a sweeter version of heineken. Refreshing on the beach in Dominica but not something Id seek out at home.

Feb 3, 2009 Bottle: Pale yellow with a slight whitish head. Harsh lager smell. Dare I say skunky? Tastes mostly malty sweet, but is barely tolerable. Thanks Jordan.

Jun 7, 2008 Aroma typical of most lagers to me. Flavor has grain and citrus with a nice somewhat creamy palate. Very refreshing. As lagers go, I think this is a fine beer. Certainly do not think it is "not enjoyable at all", as others did. I’m not sure if I just have a very undiscriminating palate, or perhaps this beer is best enjoyed in it’s warm tropical home country of Dominica.

May 24, 2008 Pours yellow with a thin white head. Smells of urine, apples, sweet malt. Tastes earthy and dry with some citrussy hints. The nose on this is aweful.
