MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany Jul 20, 2008 Bottle, 2.8%. The aroma is mostly yeasty, but there is also a hint of banana. Hazy brown colour. Big stable, lacy head. The flavour is a lot like dark wheat beer soda water, which it probably is. Hint of malt and banana, slightly sweet note. The finish is boring, but not unpleasant. haf (363), Gijon, Spain May 29, 2008 botella 500 Ml.
Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany Sep 27, 2007 bottle. Rather unusual: a dark low alcohol Hefeweizen. Brown colour, cloudy, massive and persistent head. Fruity and malty, hints of caramel. Thin flavour due to the fact that it is a low alcohol beer, but still quite a nice thirst-quencher. Geiserich (1530), Vienna, Austria Sep 20, 2006 Bottled: Reddish brown color, off-white creamy head. Light sourly, light fruity aroma. Flavor is very few roasty, light sourly. Very light bodied and quite tasteless. joss (3108), Garching b. München, Germany Nov 11, 2003 Updated: Feb 9, 2008Rerate. Acidic grain and light caramel aroma.
Big head, cloudy chestnut brown.
Banana and wheat flavors on light burned notes.
Light body of course, mellow smooth mouthfeel. Rye bread retronasal.
Improved quite a bit since I had it the first time - pleasant low alcohol.
