Kuhnhenn 2006 Traditional Spiced Mead

This bottled mead from the meadery poured a head of frothy clear colored quickly diminishing bubbles that left behind a transparent uncarbonated hazy yellow colored body and a thin oily lacing. The aroma was very nice with spices and honey. The mouth feel was vinous from start to finish. The flavor was storng of honey and spices. Very yummy indeed!.

Bottle purchased at Kuhnhenn Brewing. Very small clear head that quickly dissipated, slightly hazy, no carbonation observed, and a pale yellow hue. Nose was sweet, honey, spicy, and cinnamon. Ditto for the flavor along with the presence of the ABV and a dry finish. Tingly, dry mouthfeel and medium in body. Very quaffable mead, a sipping mead for sure and one to be enjoyed and appreciated and hats off to the fine people at Kuhnhenn for producing a truly outstanding mead. More please!!
