Big thanks to ogglethorp for the bottle! Pours a rich orange color with a big fluffy beige head. Smell is big and fruity floral hops. Nice nose. Taste is odd. Bitter, twangy, metallic sour hoppy flavor. Leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. Promising look and smell, but the taste was quite strange to me. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Damn, what a surprise bonus from polomagnifico! Pours a nice thick head with a great thick body and color. Nice sweet scent with a great bitter taste to follow. I mistook it as being a thick IPA rather than an IIPA, because the hops were so pronounced and crisp, something you dont get a lot of with many IIPA’s. I wish all doubles were this crisp. Loved it!

A- Pours a cloudy orange hue with a nice, frothy, 2 finger, off-white head that sticks around for a while. S- My nose was barraded by floral hops with very sweet, slightly fruity undertones. T- Starts off with some piney hops, moves into a sustained, overly sweet, malt presence that almost sticks to your tongue followed by a strong hop bite on the back end. The sweetness is so strong that it even is present at the end throughout the bitter bite. M- Semi viscous with a good amount of carbonation. D- I split this one with a friend and am glad I did. I enjoyed it very much but it is definitely a more extreme beer and I dont know if id like to have more than 1 in a row. Thanks go out to Derek for the opportunity to try this beast.

This poured a clear orange color with a very small white head. Aroma was loads of citrusy and piney hops masking strong alcohol. Fl;avor was very bitter in the forefront and fruity from the hops, with a long really warm and sweet finish. This is some really big beer.!

Growler from Crizay. Deep golder color with no head. Holy Hell this thing is nothing but hops and booze. Way to strong. Like drinking vodka hop juice. Not very good.

Hazy golden orange with an even creamy orange tinged head. Very hoppy! Malty. Full. Orangy citrus and pine hops. Ful creamy body. Lots of substance. Creamy malty with a pungent orangey hop bite. Resinous. Alcohol pops. Lingering hop bite. Slight astringency, balancing the malt.

Growler. Pours copper with no head. Aroma is hops, sweet malt and some kind of chemical cleaner. Flavor is bitter with some heat and candy. Palate is oily and has a very long lasting finish.

12oz bottle from Hoppymeal - thanks, Derek!!! Monster pour and monster nose. The head is nearly three fingers of creamy froth, sitting on top of a cloudy orange body that looks very inviting. Extremely pungent nose, floral, citric, and a smidge bitter. Full mouthfeel, very enjoyable, but there’s a slight tartness in the finish that ever so slightly mars this fine beer. A nice DIPA from a brewery I usually associate with the dark side.
