Great, punchy vinegar flavor, with a sweet malt body. Deep and intriguing and complex. Tastes very much like a blend between an Imperial Stout and a traditional Flemish Brown. Excellent. vtafro (477), , New Jersey, USA

Sour cherries, dark fruits and balsamic flavor. Somehow can’t get over that balsamic flavor. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

The nose is loaded with oak and a bit of light acetic tartness. Quite rich and chewy with a fairly unusual dankness on the back. There is a little bit of acetone through the middle, but this is manageable and it lends a light fruitiness. There is also a distinct toasty/nutty malt component in the middle that is really unusual in this style. A touch of grainy sweetness, but it seems to add complexity rather than simply seeming unfinished. A little bit of molasses underneath. It’s a fairly unique concoction but I do like it MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA

Reddish pour w/ a big tall pink head. Light fruit & a lot of spice maybe come corriander and a few others mixed in as well. Full well coated lightly creamy palate. Warming swallow lots of sweet cherries subtly blended after some sweet bread and spice.. A very nice beer.
Aged Mont-M... cherry something it was called. Rciesla (3720), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 8, 2009 Draft. Pours a dark rustic brown with ruby undertones and a tan creamy head. Sour raisins and tart cherry skins. Green grapes and a tart pulpy vinous cherry tone. Lighter balsamic and spicy earthiness. The highlight of the Blind Tiger promo IMO. OSLO (827), Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 7, 2009 [On-tap at GTMW ’09] Pours red with a pink head. Aroma is nice and full of cherries, with a little spice--clove, cinnamon and all spice. Taste is mainly cherry with mulling spices, with yeast coming in towards the back end. Medium mouthfeel, incredibly smooth and has a long finish. Very drinkable beer that I could have had a lot of if I’d had more time. Overall a quality beer. j12601 (1308), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

On tap at the Blind Tiger at their Kuhnhenn event. Pours a deep chocolate brown with a thin tanned beige head. Chocolate, wine cork, port, cherry. Milky, light lactic, fruit, caramel. Finishes with a little tartness and some roast. Quite liked this one.
