Aroma is solely constituted of pancake blueberry. I’m sure I can smell the flour and the fresh blueberry. Blueberry, white flour and butter also dominate taste. Some sourness in the aftertaste was a bit odd and difficult to explain but was still enjoyable. Overall, this is a very good blueberry beer. GonZoBeeR (2163), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 2, 2005 The Lure: Blueberries leap out of the glass, bursting out from the jiggling tower of foam. Oranges and yeast accompany the blueberries boldly, and loads of sediment defy the weary onlookers.
The Festivities: A prominent yeast recalls that of Fantôme’s, as does the fruitiness of prevalent oranges, lemons and peaches, and the vivacious carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and serves the authentic blueberries on a sweet and acidic platter.
Transcendence: Slowly but surely building energy after a night of camping in the country, aroused by the surrounding life. DYCSoccer17 (2201), Davis, California, USA

Sweet, yeasty banana aroma with some sour berries present and a bit of butteriness. Very hazy rusty orange color with a small tan head and lots of blueberry sediment. Slightly sweet acidic berry aroma to start. Finishes bland, and watery. This is entirely way too thin and quite underwhelming. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 18, 2005 12 oz bottle. Cloudy gold with a fluffy head and small chunks of what I can only assume is blueberry. Aroma and taste is light on the blueberries (which is good) and mellow, sweet hops. Flavor has some toasty grains to balance it all out. Just the right amount of blueberry in this to make it a quaffable libation. BBB63 (4274), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 3, 2005 Thanks Walleye for the bottle: Pours a deep reddish hue with a mostly lasting head and good lace. Truth in advertising...yup, blueberry pancakes is most of the aroma and quite inviting for the blueberry fan. Some dusty and floral esters appear every so often and even a hit of barnyard funk. The taste starts again with the blueberry but less dominating than in the aroma. You can pick out some notes of roasted malts and lightly earthy finish. The feel is lively and a touch mineral laden. This is good but I still like a few other blueberry infused beers better. Still worthy of a try if you dig this kind of thing. flemdawg (485), Naples, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2005 Apparently this was a pre-release bottle that walleye managed to get a hold of. Red body with a thin whiteish head that left some good lacing. The aroma did in fact remind me of pancakes smothered in the blueberry syrup you can get at IHOP. The taste was not as dominated by the blueberries but they werre still there. They werent like the fresh wild blueberries I had while hiking last summer, but they were more sugary sweet. The pancake taste was also lessed from the aroma to the taste. This would have gone good with the Creme Brulee Stout that they makes as a hell of a breakfast. jtw (944), farmington, Michigan, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 16, 2004 cloudy light bronze color. aroma is...surprise! blueberry with some lactic sourness. flavor is a lambic-like tartness, fresh blueberries (perhaps barely unripe blueberries due to the sourness). spritzy like champagne, very dry finish. what’s flemish for "blueberry"? i would almost classify this as a fruit lambic. awesome beer.
