Kuhnhenn Bock With Bolz

Tap. Chestnut brown in color. Whiteish head. Notes of whiskey (bourbon) in aroma. Sour/tart flavors mix in with whiskey barrel tastes. Just a little thin in body. Alcohol is blended well but still warms the belly.

Tap. I think we were near the end of the keg, ours looked like apple cider, quite cloudy with a beige head. Nice lacing. The aromas were very sweet and autumny, made me want to curl up and read a book. The mouthfeel was a tad watery but the taste was off the hook. Fruit, cider a hint of chocolate. The nice warming effect of the alcohol. I would love to try this mulled.

thanks to jessica for suggesting this. poured a deep mahogany with a off white head.aroma cherries, caramel,honey, grapes, cider, a nice sweetness. flavor, carmel, cherries, grapes, honey, alcohol, cherries, a very nice bitterness with a good mouthfeel the type you didn’t want it to leave.
