acrdz (4248), Pennsylvania, USA Jan 1, 2008 Yellow and clear. Thick, viscous and heavy corn and essense du malt liquor. Bold and sharp all around with a heavy corn presence, sweet, strange. ClarkVV (3547), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Jan 25, 2004 Pours a deep yellow-golden color with a good amount of white head. Very lagery aroma of sour hops, slightly metallic aroma as well, but not in a bad way. Starts out quite reserved and picks up in strength as it warms. Good clean lagered flavor of barley, some corn, lighlty sour, lightly bitter, medium body. Alcohol is not perceptible, has an almost syrupy feel to it. Something like lemon in the flavor as well. I will have to try more, quite good though. Tmoney99 (3503), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Mar 5, 2007 Draft at 2007 Michigan BGWF. Poured hazy amber color with a large frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Good complex hoppy spicy aroma. Medium body with slick texture. Medium sweet balanced flavor with a moderate smooth bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good interesting winter brew. thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 21, 2008 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The almost non-existant aroma was malty at best. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mildly vinous soft lagerish malt. An OK brew just nothing special. Eyedrinkale (3102), Beer Town, New York, USA Mar 14, 2005 Updated: Feb 20, 2008Honey yellow color with hardly a head at all. Aroma is lightly citrus. Taste is like pure malt extract with some fuggle juice. Medium bodied and somewhat dry and light bitterness.
