thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 21, 2008 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The almost non-existant aroma was malty at best. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mildly vinous soft lagerish malt. An OK brew just nothing special.
adrian910ss (958), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 23, 2008 On draft at the HDG. Pours a clear golden copper with a small white head that quickly disappears. Buttery aroma with hints of barley and wheat. Taste of barley and wheat with a buttery presence. hotstuff (3008), Indiana, USA Mar 21, 2008 Draft at Kuhnhenn.Small white head that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, no carbonation observed, transparent, and a golden hue. Nose was malty, sweet, grain, and sugary.Flavor was malty, sweet and sugary.Smooth mouthfeel and light in body.Balanced, simple beer, nothing special IMO and easy drinking. Not one that I want again.Easily forgettable. puzzl (1623), New York, New York, USA Mar 20, 2008 Tap at Hop Devil. Very grainy, husky aroma, a bit of corn, DMS. Flavor is dull, corny, tastes like a crappy American lager. Whats the deal? hophead75 (1610), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Mar 12, 2008 on tap at HDG. Clear golden in color with a small off white head. Aroma: very grainy, with some spicy hops, light butter- does smell a bit like maize also. Taste is sweet pils and light butter, a honey like sweetness, with a lightly bitter finish. Ugh, I found this one to be a bit messy.
