Commercial Description:
Real raspberries abound in this chocolate caramel after dinner treat. Aged for a smooth texture and drinkability. This lager beer will handle additional age very well.

Amazingly deep dark brown beer with ruby accents. Aroma is of sweet chewy malts, strong aroma of raspberry tartness, toasty sweet malts, chocolate, raspberry aroma. Peppery aroma, toast, sweet chocolate and caramel maltiness wrapped in a delicious robe of ripe raspberry. I can’t believe that a beer can taste this good.

Thanks to bgramer for this 2007 bottle. An aggressive pour into my St. Bernardus glass leaves me with a dark ruby brown beer that leaves a quarter inch head that fades immediately. Aroma is of raspberries, chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow creme, caramel and alcohol. Taste is chocolate, raspberry, marshmallow creme/rich caramel, and alcohol. I’m not a big fan of the marshmallow creme flavor but I appreciate this beer for what it is. Huge syrupy body that has a slight tingling carbonation. This just keeps getting better and better the more it warms. More alcohol is coming out but it blends well with the flavors and the aforementioned creme flavor is starting to meld with other flavors better.

2007 vintage bottle from linus_stick. pours dark brown with no head. aromas of raspberry, chocolate, tootsie roll. flavours are similar but this comes together in liquid form far better then one could imagine. it is the best beverage ive had that in know way reminds me of conventional beer. if i were the brewer of his concoction id bottle it in 750ml bottles and sell it as a liquer for $100 a bottle. that being stated its one of the best beers ive ever had and im truely mad it comes in the 167 ml format. give me 750’s of this and ill be happy. till then im content. thx linus you made me content on this evening.

2004 bottle. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma of chocolate, raspberry and something I can’t put my finger on. Taste is the same with some oak, vanilla, alchohol and caramel. Very, very smooth. Could only handle a little bit though. Thanks Grim!!!!

Courtesy JMFG. The aroma of this gem is stunning, almost beyond comprehension. Chocolate, raspberry, malted milk and nougat all add to the mastery. The flavor is almost overwhelming. The chocolate and raspberry is strong. Stunning.
