Bottle shared by the brothers K. Hazy golden, with average white head. Aroma has a nice balance of floral and citrus. Faint grass, light malt background. Flavor on par, as it warms, malt comes through a little more. Could have a little drier finish, otherwise a really solid brew.

Feb 10, 2007 On tap: The aroma has strong yeasty notes with moderate apple, peach, and faint spice. It’s a transparent golden-orange with a small white head. The flavor starts with a big yeasty kick. There is moderate apple in the middle and finishes mildly spicey with a hint of sourness. I have to say I’m pretty suprised by the overall rating.

Jan 31, 2007 At the brewpub, one additional reason to go there. Bit of alcohol incredibly in the aroma. Yellow with a bit of foam. Bold taste with tartness, then honey and spices aftertaste.Honey offsets the dryness characteristic of this style. Aggressive carbonation.

Jan 7, 2007 On tap at the brewery. Fruity and citrusy in the aroma with a little funkiness but its very light. Pretty sweet but still pretty good overall. I thought this would be a little higher when i looked it up.

Jan 1, 2007 6.5% ABV. On draft at brewery. It poured with a dark gold color with creamy white head. Nice fruity aroma of tart grapes and some sweet undercurrents. Flavor has a nice balance between several layers of sweet and tart grape fruitiness. Pretty darn smooth making it tough to discern flavor notes. I also detect mild spices floating around the flavor profile. Yet another good beer from Kuhnhenn.
