Pleasantly foamy white head is initially substantial but quickly fades to a film leaving little lacing. Aroma is a bit skunked and non-inspiring. Some faint malt notes may be there along with a bit of grassyness. Light bodied, somewhat watery. Flavor seems to be lacking in malt characteristics, there is a bit of malt sweetness initially, some spicey and drying hop qualities show up towards the finish and linger. Fair at best. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 9, 2005 Good sized bright white head. Reduces quickly and has good carbonation. Hoppy aroma. Some Saaz hops and a bit of peppermint. Color is a light to medium gold. Flavor is watery andclean. Liitle malt and hops. Pretty boring but not offensive at all. Finishes clean with a bit of bitterness. Little fizzy in the mouth. There are much worse pilsners out there. Frank (1066), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Nose is sweet with a hint of cooked cabbage. Slightly fizzy but still sluggish on the palate. A slight citrus note is nice but overridden by a metallic off flavor. jbrus (4872), Delft, Netherlands

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 9, 2004 Bottle: Aroma is a weak malt and fruit. Pours a pale yellow with an inch head that is down to a film in a minute or so. Sweet initially with a slight hop finish. Very slight bitter aftertaste. Nice balance but nothing all that special. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 3, 2003 I had no idea this beer was so rare - I've seen it several times here in NYC but blew it off since I assumed it sort of sucked. I assumed right. Clear, straw-colored. Grassy taste with a bit of light herbal notes. Mostly, very light, overly fizzy yellow beer. Extremely American Standard-ish. A shame. Oh, and the alcohol is noticeable. JPDIPSO (4914), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2003 Clear yellow straw color with a heavy looking small lid of bubbles. Clean, but very light, aromas of dry malt and hay. Light malt and quite dry. Hint of alcohol in the finish. Light and drinkable.
