330ml can from a Alko store in northern Finland. Clear, golden body. Skinny strip of foam. Smell of wheat-malt. Malt and dry, fruity hops in flavour. Smooth bitter endnotes. Dry oily texture. Quite well bodied. Decent pils version (Tromsø, 28.11.2009).

33cl can. Grassy hoppy and a bit buttery aroma Typical golden colour with a white quickly dissapearing head. Tastes some malts and grassy hops with a bitter dry end. Quite nice for a Finnish pilsener, props to Laitila!

Can bought at Alko in Oulu, Finland. A clear, gold-like color. A large white fluffy foam that disappeared rather quickly. Grass, bread, and a certain sweetness in the aroma. The flavor contained in addition a malty bread, a little grapefruit and honey. The body was quite weak. Aftertaste was weak.

Thanks to Garrett for the can, BB 1/11/2007. Poured mostly clear medium golden (basically the color of the can) with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up honey, corn, and a touch of sourdough bread with little to indicate hoppage. The flavor found honey and corn again along with a deeper, darker vegetal character.. peppery alcohol and oxidation evident on the edges.. tacky honey on the finish. Light-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. didn’t flow too well.. considering the serious age on it, it surely held up well.

330 ml can. Finland. Clear golden colour with small white head. Sweetish grassy malty aroma. Quite sweet grassy malty flavour with some spices, quite harsh alcohol and Laitila vegetables. Not as good as 4.5% version.

Malty sweet and slightly bitter finnish pils that unfortunately has a slightly metallic aftertaste. Drank pretty good though.

Golden beer with medium white head. Aroma is pure and there are found grain field, grass and some butter and sweetness. Flavour is pure malty with medium hoppiness and quite long and lasting. Medium palate and nice to drink. Strog Kukko Pils is average beer and differences to normal version are quite minimal.
