Commercial Description:
Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

Smells bad, pours a clear yellow and tastes like a Rolling Rock - pale malt, metallic, watery. Not a fan.

11.2oz bottle. Pale yellow golden color. Deliciously crisp and drinkable, with a light floral aroma. Mild hop balance with a sweet aftertaste. Perfect session beer.

The bottle looks really noble. The beer in the glass is also okay. The flavor is modest dry, modest "dusty" finish, very drinkable. Good beer.

Good pale lager aroma, nice and clean, friendly and fine. Continuous rolling rising carbonation in the glass, very noteworthy. Excellent amount of fizz on the palate, likable. Initially this is surprisingly bitter then it mellows out in a way. Becomes more like a good pale lager. Taste after taste it becomes more and more friendly. I want to give it a 4 for taste but the enjoyable factor on this stuff is pretty high so I’ll notch it up to a 5 or 6. Remnants of pilsner bitter bite on the finish, refreshing to the end. A likable beer. Probably an excellent session brew.

From an 11.2oz bottle--Poured a clear straw golden yellow body with a fluffy thick and quickly diminishing white head. Nose of a standard pils. Bready, crisp, mildly metallic. Some sharp spicy hop presence. A little creamy and refreshing in the mouth feel. Crisp, clean finish. The metallic bit was a little bit of a put off.

5L mini-keg at a New Year’s Party. Pours a pale, golden yellow with a white creamy foam head. Pleasant lager aroma of barley malt. Flavor is a perfect balance that I have been missing for a long time. Nice citrus bitterness flows evenly with the grainy malt character. Medium bodied at extemely easy to drink. I had more pints than I was expecting, it is just so smooth and creamy... delicious. Prost!
