Commercial Description:
Kulmbacher Edelherb is pale and dry. Its special taste is thanks to the soft brewing water from pristine, crystal-clear springs of the Fichtelgebirge, the noblest malting barley from regional farmlands, handpicked hops from the Hallertau, and our legendary brewing skills.

I’m always up for a good pilsener and this one definitely hit the spot. It poured a golden yhellow with a huge white head. Plenty of carbonation. Nice skunky smell. Very smooth and crisp. Not as flavorfull as the aroma would lead make you think.

On tap at Novare Res. Pours golden clear color with a big white head. Aroma is light malt, slightly hoppy. Flavor is really crisp, good carbonation, nice and clean drinking. This beer is as soft as silk and is a pleasure going down.

Gold with a white head. Pretty light aroma, mostly of malts. Flavor is very light. Malts, yeast, and bread. Sweet finish.

Clear golden, firm white head. Dry and grainy malty aroma, little honey. Flavor is dry malts, cardboard, honey, mild hay with moderate bitterness. Mineral watery finish. Utterly boring and even bulky pilsner, way lacking in aromahops.

0.5 l bottle. Golden color with creamy white head. Malty, honeyish, herbal and grassy aroma with some sulphur. More malt, honey and herbal hops in the flavor with medium to firm bitterness and some tartness. Fairly good pils. Surprisingly honeyish.

Pours pale gold with a two finger white head. Leaves plenty of lacing rings. Aroma is grassy, some floral hops. Slight skunk aroma from the bottle that disappeared quickly as soon as it was poured. Nice mild Pils, slightly sweet malts with a nice bitter hop flavor in the dry finish. Palate was slightly astringent. Fine Bavarian Pils. I could drink a sixer right now.
